Bael tree has nutritional and medicinal values. Bael tree is planted for domestic purposes & have religious importance in India.


Bael tree height goes up to a height of fifteen to twenty feet & it has white sweet-scented flowers. Bael fruits are of pomegranate type in shape. The best time to seed bael patra is in the monsoon.

Bael tree is also called stone apple & holy fruit which is offered to Lord Shiva.  It is famous for pre-historic times.

Bael has medicinal properties of antidiabetic & anti-inflammatory. Bael is known as a medicinal plant. 

Himalayan foothills are places where they found in forests.

In Sanskrit bael is called bilva-patra.  ‘Bilva’ is bael tree & ‘Patra is a leaf. The fruit is the part of the plant bael patra it has a hard shell & tastes sweet.

                             Ayurveda says there are three dosh Vatt, Pitt, Kaph & bael patra relieves you from all three dosh. A high quantity of antioxidants is there in bael fruit which makes our digestive system stronger.

Diseases like diabetes, hypertension, heart problems & cholesterol can be cured by consumption of bael patra.                    The plant takes away all the negative vibes and fills the environment with positivity because it also confers healthiness and prosperity.
