Ziziphus Mauritiana is a shrub with branches spread all over & full of small thorns. It belongs to the family of Rhamnaceae. It is a widespread tree.  Ziziphus Mauritiana is from Indian Origin & found in South Asian countries as well.

Ziziphus Mauritiana attains the height of twenty-five to thirty feet, & diameter up to twelve inches. Its spreads in an area of twenty to thirty feet. Ziziphus Mauritiana branches are closely grown. Its bark colour is greyish black.

Indian jujube can be cultivated in arid regions as it can survive in very dry conditions too.

Indian jujube plantation is found up to the altitude of 1000 m in India. The tree prefers sunny & dry conditions climate.

Ziziphus Mauritiana leaves are greenish-yellow in colour & dimension two inches long. Leaves Surfaces are dark glossy & they are well arranged.
