Christmas tree is basically associated with Christmas festival & X-Mass is celebrated as the birthday of God Christ. It falls on the 25th day of December in the winter season. Christmas tree is a decorative tree it is erected on the occasion of Christmas festival & decorated sweets, chocolates, cherries & red balls with electric lightings. Christmas tree is the species of pine & balsam fir.

Germany is considered as the pioneer in the plantation of Christmas tree & they started getting the Christmas tree to home. Natural Christmas trees cost high in value.

Christmas tree attains the height of a hundred feet & above, & a diameter of eight to ten inches. 

The color of the Christmas tree is green moss & similar to sap green. Leaves are of needle-like shape.    

Plains land is desirable for the cultivation of Christmas trees if it is erosion free that's a plus. Below are the few well-known species of the Christmas tree-like Fraser fir, Balsam fir. The species is one of the best of its own. 

Loamy soil is best preferred for the sowing of Christmas trees, it adjusts itself in most of the soil types. Seedling is the best way to grow a Christmas tree. It shall be kept moist as it may not tolerate a warm climate. It takes a four years period to grow a tree up to desired height.

A mature Christmas tree can live up to two hundred years.
